Professor Diego Pereira was born in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia on January 23rd, 1980. In May of 1998, at age 18, Professor Diego began training Jiu-jitsu under Professor Admilson "Juquinha" Brites, the brother of Ailson "Jucão" Brites, at the Gracie Humaitá-Brasília Academy.
In 2002, Professor Diego began teaching at some of the best Jiu Jitsu academies in Brasilia. On December 7th, 2007, received his black belt from Professor Admilson Brites. In 2008, after receiving an invitation from Professor Ailson "Jucão" Brites, Professor Diego Pereira is now living in the New York-New Jersey area. Professor Diego Pereira has begun a project focusing on the development of new athletes and the furthering of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu worldwide.
